To display this window, go to the layout and theme tab
on the ribbon bar, click the drop-down arrow under the
windows button and select show to do list window. Similarly to hide the thesaurus
use the same procedure - or click the cross at the top right of the
thesaurus window.

The to do list is a convenient place to keep a note on all the tasks you want to
remember 'to do' while writing your novel. Each item in the to do list has a
checkbox (to say whether you have done the task or not) along with a text area
where you can detail the task.
