The ribbon is the area of the MyNovel workspace where you
issue commands to add chapters and characters to your novel, to format your novel,
to find and replace text within your novel, etc.
At the top of the ribbon are four primary tabs which provide access to given sets
of functionality within MyNovel:
The writing tab
This tab enables you to add chapters, characters, etc. to your novel. It also enables
you to format the text within your novel and to perform find and replace operations
on the text within the current chapter.
The inspiration tab
The inspiration tab enables you to get inspiration for your novel, using the MyNovel.biz
website.
The writer circle tab
The writers circle tab enables you work with The Writers
Circle directly from MyNovel.
The layout and theme tab
The layout and theme tab enables you to hide / show the various tool windows within
MyNovel including the novel explorer , the
properties window , the thesaurus and so on,
to switch to full-screen editing, and to change the overall appearance (the theme)
of the MyNovel workspace.
Printing and exporting
In addition, when you switch to print preview mode (in order to print or export
your novel) the four tabs are temporarily replaced with a single printing tab:
