Generate a synopsis

To use this command, right click on the chapters section of the
novel explorer window and choose generate synopsis.

When you submit your work to a literary agent you should include a cover letter,
a synopsis, a title page and the first three chapters. The synopsis will be a brief
summary of your novel. It should be interesting enough to grab the attention of
the agent. It should not be too short (it must say what your novel is about!) and
it should not be too long (literary agents are busy!)
After using this command a synopsis will be added in a standard format to the start
of the chapters section in your novel explorer window.
The command takes the synopsis itself from what you typed in the
create a new novel wizard and / or changed it to in novel
details page.
Important: You could edit the synopsis document if you wish, however you
should be wary of doing so because next time you generate a synopsis using this
command you will lose any changes you make. It is much better to edit the synopsis
in the novel details page, then regenerate the synopsis
document by using this command again.
Advanced: It is possible to customize the default format of the synopsis page. To
do so you can edit SynopsisTemplate.rtf in the
DefaultDocuments folder. This is not something we advise you to do. For further
