The application menu is displayed when you click the round application icon at the
top left of the workspace. It contains a list of the recent novels you have been
working on, along with a few main application commands.
The commands are as follows:

New novel
|
Starts the create a new novel wizard which will
take you through the steps to create a new novel.

Open novel
|
Starts a file open dialog which will allow you to search for a novel you have worked
on in the past.
|
|
Save novel
|
Saves the novel you are currently working on.
|
|
Save novel as
|
Saves the novel you are currently working on, with a new filename.
|
|
Printing and publishing
|
Prepares your document for printing and publishing / exporting. Once you click this
button you will be asked what you want to print (see
printing and publishing / exporting) and the ribbon will switch to the
printing tab.

Help
|
Displays this help file.
|
|
About
|
Shows the about box.
|
|
Preferences
|
Shows the preferences dialog.
|
|
Exit MyNovel
|
Closes MyNovel, prompting you to save any changes before doing so.
