Format your manuscript in the format required by literary agents
|
When you have finished your manuscript and decide to take the next step and approach
a literary agent or publisher, in order to get your work published, MyNovel will
format your manuscript for you in the required format.
|
If you are writing in English you should always use Times New Roman 12pt. Every
paragraph should have double-line spacing, left-aligned with a first line indent
of 0.5". Every paragraph should be left-justified.
|
Every page should carry your name and the title, along with a page number. Every
chapter should start on a new page.
|
Include a title page, synopsis and cover letter
MyNovel can also automatically generate
a title page for you (in the required format) which contains your address,
the approximate word count, the title of your work and your name. Similarly you
can automatically generate a synopsis
page and even a cover letter which
will introduce you and your work to a prospective agent or publisher.
The information displayed on your title page, synopsis and cover letter are automatically
collected from you when you create a new novel
(and amended in the novel details page.)
